Hi all - we are pleased to announce a further addition to Bandit's ever growing stump grinder range.

 

The 'new' Bandit 2250XP is built with budget in mind so there are few options. Fitted with the Kohler 27hp petrol engine, manual controls, one/two wheel drive and 35” width, this is sure to be a popular addition.

 

 

By far the best point is the fact that it is direct hydrostatic drive, so no clutch, belt, pulleys or tensioning system etc. The first machines have sold but more are due in, please contact Dean Embling to discuss further.

You usually find that belts are 94-95% efficent & in this case the motor is 90%, so a loss of 4-5%.

Has it only got one bearing on the cutter wheel?????

Correct, the motor is heavy duty so it has one oversized bearing to manage the side/shock loads.
