I found the tachyon too light and it tangles easily. Pain in the preverbial trying to flick it over a branch or drop it back down the tree. I've reverted to a heavier rope. Feels nice in the hand but I prefer a little more meat, especially for SRT so went for something a bit thicker. Also found it doesn't self tend very well when used with the SJ.

No there not bro, they may be on paper but feel totally different in use..

 

Well that's strange because I was told by the dmm boys at the arb show, that they are built on the same production line just different colour. Someone is telling porkies out there.

Probably made on the same

Machine with exactly the same materials. It's just that the colour effects how the rope feels, I've got a few different tachyons and can say for sure they all feel different.
