has any body else had trouble with zips on stretchairs, i got a pair last july which the zip broke in first few weeks so i took them and they were replaced:001_smile:. thn these ones broke so i got them fixed my self, and they lasted about a year, which was good.

 

but then i bought some the other week and guess what theyve broke again,:thumbdown:

 

is it just me or has tis happened to anyone else

so far this year we've had six pairs of stretch airs break there zips,all with the same problem the little metal clasp at the bottom was either not there or just fell off. All trousers were replaced without a fuss though. Other than the zips they are bomb proof!!! Newest was last week and the zips do seem different hopefully thse will last longer

They have told us that the problem is now solved and the new pairs are slowly coming through. As far as i know the problem was with the stitching below the zip allowing the zip to be pulled apart at the bottom (this is on a very small number of them NOT ALL OF THEM).

The one thing about S/Air is they will cover them for you, give us a call when we are back at work and I'll change them for you.

 

I know you guys wouldn't do it :-) but we have had a couple of local people try it on with trousers that are ripped to bits trying get new ones out of us, but we know what to look for. So behave yourself guys and that way they can cover those who need it.

thats what happend to mine, i think ill just put a new zip on

 

If you want to put a new zip on them give us a call and I'll send you somthing to cover the cost.
