Surely Aspen costs a fortune to run on big saws?

Not really - depends on your perspective.

Say I'm running the 076 which takes about a litre in the tank, so that's about £3.50. If I'm felling a 3ft tree that will take about a third of a tank, give or take.

Milling a 2ft6in butt I reckon I can go 16ft on a tank at the widest point. That's not too bad - a surface area of about 40sq.ft for £3.50 - that's quite a lot of board!

stihl hp ultra 1L £23.50 or £3.70 one shot

petrol 1L £1.34

5L mixed £10.40

5L Aspen 2 £18 something, may sound a lot but guaranteed pure. How much do you value trouble free running?

How often I seen water in supermarket forecourt petrol and the pumps not delivering what they show on the meter.

My car holds 70L it was 1/4 full and when the meter at the pump was still going after passing 70 llitres I stopped. I know when its getting close it cuts off!

Told the young girl the pump was wrong all I got back was "oh, its been ok all day" could have made a fuss but she was on her own over stressed & under paid and as normal it was rush hour so crazy. never been back there & never will F%&%@@ crooks

I know I should have not paid and had them check it but was off on holiday next morning and just wanted to get home
