ive a km130r with strimmer, blower, scrub cutter and pole pruner attachments, i use the green mix and have never had bother.... watch the mouldings around the engine when starting, i badly cut and scarred 4 fingers starting it once and another lad who used it done 2 fingers, sharp vent holes on mine!

if its the stuff i have just been looking at its about £20 for 1l :confused1:

 

 

Just bought a 1l bottle of the Stihl green oil for £13.75.

 

Bought our first 4-mix machine in Sept and have been having starting issues with it for a while. New plug and air filter fitted. Hoping the new oil solves our probs for the hedgecutting season.:thumbup:

The 4 mix engines have been less than satifactory, it looks like Stihl are slowly introducing 2 mix engines to replace the 4 mix, and not before time IMO.

 

If you have one and want to get the best out of it use the Ultra oil.

 

I doubt it will solve your starting issues though, this is more likely due to worn valves with excessive clearance.

It's quite likely to be the valves need adjusting. Also, if you remove the air filter you'll probably find it drenched in fuel. There's some pathetic issue with the 4-mix engines where fuel siphons back into the filter housing from the fuel tank when laying down or stood engine down. Pain in the arris rail.
