Looks like a tracked chipper would have been useful in there. Did you get stuck at all?!

 

We did think about hiring a tracked chipper, but we used a plain old one which was cheaper and got it down/up the slope using a hand winch..didnt take us long..were both ex squaddies so bit of hard work dont worry us. The bottom was a little muddy but the chipper didnt go down that far. Cross cutting the trunks was a bugger in the mud and rolling them over:thumbdown:

Would have started a bonfire it was cold on two days..me hands froze in the morning. When we started work the blood started pumping to them again to warm them up.

 

David it was Langham hall...know it?
