Me too originally. Got a wii and several different fitness things like boxing and toning up and really aching arms so must be working!

Forgive me if we've covered this before but do you climb trees for a living or do you operate a desk?

Lee. I'm sure you know the boring truth that cutting alcohol will be the fastest way of losing a stone. Depending on how much you drink (if you do?) a bit of cutting back plus exercise and a stone could go easily in six months or less but the slower you lose it the more chance of keeping it off.

Then bread would be the next worse thing IMO. I simply stopped buying bread at home. Rye bread only, but you can't really make sandwiches with rye bread. So I'll have the odd bit of bread while out but I can't scoff a load at home. Makes me sleepy now if I have it anyway.

I operate a van. Do lots of work for water companies fitting monitoring devices. I do confined spaces rescue ( breathing app) and waterway monitoring and clearance.

As far as trees go i suppose you could say i manage my uncles wood near ledbury. Not certed but learning lots and rather keen on woodland crafts. Lucky enough to have several days a month learning horse logging nearby.

Kind of a woodland enthusiast. Always interesting to learn from you guys.

Thanks Rupe, I quit alcohol this week and plan on keeping off it for as long as possible, not that I'm much of a drinker these day , I was drinking a bottle every night with my dinner, next step will be bread, the wifes always banging on about carbs, is white rice, pasta and potatoes as bad as bread do you think ?
