Just done a timed 5k run, smashed 50 seconds off my time 20:30, only 31 seconds and I will be under 20mins :-)

I'm trying to get there too. Am doing 7.30s typically in speedy training runs, so maybe some extra adrenalin from a race would help. I see a Parkrun in my near future.

I'll post up a link if i get the chance for charity ride i am doing. 53miles from worcester to forest of dean stop the night and back if anyone is interested. Theres a 40mile event for british heart foundation in may too. Nice ride out.

Yeah trying to persuade mates to do it. Will probably add a tenner or so to entry. I struggle to get sponsorship as away and only small circle of people i see regularly.
