in feed problem

When the cutting wheel slows to a certain speed when it's feeding material a sensor on the cutting flywheel activates the solonoid on the valve in picture with wires on it. Sending the oil away from feeders back to tank or pump stopping the feed rollers allowing the cutting flywheel to speed up to the correct speed for cutting, when it speeds back up the sensor stitched off solonoid allowing oil back to the feed rollers allowing them to turn and start feeding material back through.

I still feel that if you have to keep "resetting the infeed with the button", then you have a malfunction in the stop bar controls. IE, a micro switch or other sensor is being told to switch off the infeed rollers, and by pressing the button, you are telling them to start again. That solenoid valve (electric tap) may be a part of that system in that the 12v supply is interrupted by the stop bar mechanism and the button re-energizes it to regain flow!

Take apart the solonoid section clean it and put it back together if you want to.

It may take some fault finding with voltmeter to see if power I'd always as the solonoid parts.

Best bet is to take to a dealer unless there is an oute electrician around your area. Most agri dealers should be able to help aswell. It's a hydraulic/electrical system so it shouldn't be too hard for someone with the right gear to check it over.
