Easiest way to delay the long drawn out death of your tree is add flat lemonade to the water, the sugars help retain needles by feeding the tree. Similar idea to the sachets of feed that florists send with flowers.

 

heard this on the radio this morning... the dj thought it was a windup, I wasn't sure...

ditto.the worse thing about real ones is every other day until about the following august customer invariably says "couldn't just stick my old (spiky,poke your eyes out) chrimbo tree in your trailer could i? (FOC) :thumbdown:

 

Just going to stick mine, sorry i mean the wifes, through the chipper:001_tongue:

No. I remember my old college lecturer telling us about it. Evidently before proprietary anti-transpirants they used to use it when transplanting evergreen spp..... the early days of Southern Tree Surgeons. It does work.

Graham, what's the story of your avatar?

 

Just blocks up the stoma or should it be stomata? Hairspray does the same.

 

The avatar shows how not to climb rock steps:001_smile:. Have a passion for bikes and the pic was taken on the Wyegate long distance trial. Bike's a Yam 450 which played up terribly on that day.
