Spent a couple of days whilst on holiday changing my website adding a few bits and bobs to help with seo. Can anyone see any mistakes or things that should be changed http://www.countrysidetreeandgardenservices.co.uk

Not bad at all.

I would be changing the web address though as typing countrysidetreeand gardenseevices.co.uk without making a mistake is difficult on a phone for anyone with fat fingers like me.

Edit I got it wrong even when trying hard!

Some of the text is a bit lumpen and awkward (specifically the paragraph The managing director Andy....) the odd tiny mistake but pretty well set out site imo.

Thanks Mick I agree on some parts spelling and grammar was never my strong point so it normally takes me some time with spell checker and trying to re write paragraphs to get them spot on. I'll sit down and see if I can re word some parts thanks for looking though

Thanks Richard I agree I've had the domain name for several years now and in hindsight should have chosen something easier to type. The problem is that it has now been established for some years and google recognises it and ranks it as being an older website so I'm reluctant to change it and drop down the rankings so it may have to stay.

Speak to someone who knows better but I'm sure you can keep it for google ranking (have it divert to some other name) but also use something easier to type at the same time if that makes sense?

Yep makes sense I'll have a chat my seo bloke see what we can come up with I was just worried after having it running for a few years and putting a lot of time and effort into google that I would lose the rank. 👍🏻

I think that if you can get the domain name CTGS or the like, you can use that as another address that can forward searches to your existing site, keeping the older site for the sake of your ranking.

As far as I know you can do this with any number of domains through the name servers (DNS?) and would think, but check, it'll retain the ranking
