just been quoted 700 + for a pto shaft for a zero turn kubota with a wiedenman deck ,does anyone have or know where i can find alternative i am currently trying an engineer to see if he can make one this shaft is only 50 cm long and transferring 28 hp what planet do they live on expecting that money also 50 pound for victa drive belt .any help greatly appreciated :confused1:

try your local ag spares place. but sometimes kubota use odd sizes and there's nothing but genuine. Its a ridiculous price I have to agree for a shaft that long!

 

If its a longish drive belt or thickish then £50 probably ain't far off the right money!

its not long about 25cm even jonsies said it is ridiculous and are being helpful trying to source one many thanks to them as usual. on the shaft i have tried agri stuff but as you say odd size yolk etc

Here's another one.

Incredibly they don't have a website, but what they don't know about and can't do with prop shafts probably doesn't exist.

And living in the 1970's their prices are from that era too....

the Victa drive belts on the 505 and 550 is an A section but i cant remember the length. iv 2 hanging in the shed. i think there about £4 each at scotts bearings
