Can anyone translate the description of the cocoon 3 from the ART site? Can't seem to do it from my phone...

n of the development work for the Cocoon 3 was to increase the diameter of the roll from 22 to 30 mm, to reduce the Umlenkwiderstand further. At the same time should be preserved the unique cocoon style. The extra cost could be offset by the ball nut has been replaced by a non-threaded ball cap, which is now secured with two screws. The feedback from the field have shown that the Cocoon is re-mounted two seldom and thus the convenience of the ball nut is hardly used.

 

The Cocoon 3 of ascent is even less effort and the shape is still something very special. Even with the Cocoon 3 are high quality sealed SKF bearings installed and the body's role will continue to increase despite the fabricated from a solid piece of high-strength aluminum-Konsruktal. In connection with a rope or belt loop, it can furthermore be used in various applications such as the inline anchor point. The removal and installation of rope or belt loop works, as shown in the instructions, just continue. A further connection element, such as shackles or carabiner is unnecessary. Rope or belt loop to disappear completely in the role. The Cocoon 3 combines known and new features in an elegant way and it is sturdy and durable. Tested and certified according to EN 12278 and PSA as a component of a certified Ropeguide.

Personally I always felt the amount of Umlenkwiderstand was the best thing about the device...shame to reduce it IMO
