We take down two oak trees over two days, day 1, get the brush off and chipped, day 2, rig the wood and remove it... As always, we have wires, rooves and tight landing zones, but the owner is having a new driveway put in, hence the removal. Watch in 1080p

Just editing day 2, rigging of all the wood. Will upload when done.

good vids - rigging out of a bucket truck really is an art in it's own right, completely different from climbing/rigging. Done many similar trees in similar locations to that tree myself out of bucket trucks so know the pros and cons well. It look really confined and you were having deal with some big timber. Looked like there were some service drops to deal with as well.

In the first clip on the first vid I'd avoid being in a situation where the top boom is underneath the rigging line. I know your only re-directing the branch but as a general rule you should try to avoid this scenario.

Good work never the less.

Martyn, yes I try to avoid that too, but in that scenario, I could have had another redirect so the rope was under the boom, but we only have 2 pulleys! It worked out though.
