Just a quicky, I've drank coffee non-stop for about 8 years now. Have now stopped all that nonsense and moved on to good ol' Tea. So............................................. Do I leave the tea bags in the flask all day or make it in a jug and transfer it into my flask before I leave the house????????

Thats all I needed. Cheers boss. I actually never thought of that. That way it will stay hotter longer in my flask. Woop Woop. Can delete this thread now.

made tea in a flask goes rank about dinnertime,i can't be bothered to take seperate tea bags,milk etc so i do this:

1,stainless steel flask preheated with boiling water

2,china teapot preheated with boiling water

3,make teapot with 2 pg tips

4,fill flask with tea and very little milk and no sugar

5,do not open flask at all until 9am

6,tea stays hot and tea-like till about 2pm

7,if the customer makes you one? bonus!

I carry at least one cooker in my car and make fresh tea as required.

 

Seeing as I have a thing about portable cookers, (I own about 7 so far) I am thinking of doing a tea making review, speed/cost etc. watch this space!

Has to be one of these for me, and no sugar. Like Rupe, I always carry a little stove. Usually a small propane cylinder and ring burner, and a good kettle.
