I cut one down a while ago and I am sure you could have taken the lot of it if you had wanted... All gone now and probably chopped up and drying out for next years firewood.

I am sure someone will be able to help.

Need enough to produce 2 beams; one 6-8ft long and the other 4-6ft long and atleast 4"x4" thick...

Very sorry to say, but it splits very easily and appears it will be good calorific value next winter:blushing:

4 inch or 4 feet? I'm guessing the latter. They will be amazing beams (if you can find the timber). I take it they need to be Acacia for the colour/grain?

 

Aye got to be acacia not alternative...
