Tree waste.. HELP.

How can you afford to rent a yard if you can't afford £40 to get rid of brash or hire a chipper??

when i first went on my own i had a landy and a 12' flat trailer.

 

as said earlier i went to about 20 farmers before i'd find one who'd let me burn brash on his land.

 

if the jobs big enough, price the chipper hire in, if not, smash and bash it, put it in barrow bags, and take it to your local tip.

you'll be hard pushed to find a farmer who will burn it now- the EA are putting a stop to that.

How will a yard help- if you're not going to burn it because of the time it takes then you would be using the yard to store it/woodchip and then costs to get rid.

You could tip here for free if you like as anything over 2 inch I burn for firewood

 

Trouble is im in north wales

 

I also wanted to buy woodchip for a landscaping job but the cheapest place I could find was B&Q so didn't bother :

 

I priced Bulk builders bags or loads woodchip & they cost more per ltr than B&Q!
