:biggrin:NO IT WAS NOT,(and you can keep your head down too Mr Bollam)! best i go to bed before I offer you youngsters a challenge you cant win,but heres one to try NOW.

,can you get your foot behind your head,A can you punch break a light bulb without it swinging on its flex after.

Have some respect for us olduns,we might be cantakerous, numb in the extremeties, half blind & incontinent when you least expect it,but we are still sensitive to the truth.

Anyway, knowing what Spike is like I would have had it cut split & stacked for a good strong cuppa!:thumbup1:

Good on the old boy.

1. he aint worried about going for a bit of rough justice:thumbup1:

2' he obviously bullied you into giving him the wood:001_rolleyes:

3, ya liked the old boy for it:biggrin:

I love old people like this, they dont give a damn for all the modern pc crap, they just get going in ther own old way.

Nice post mate, bet you loved it:001_smile:

Yeh because they know they're old so they'll get away with it. Tongue in cheek when pensioners get lippy/physical  you can't start shouting back because if someone sees you your the bad guy!

The 'respect your elders' excuse winds me up ... I'll respect someone on how they treat me not just because they are older.

You've got to admit, he had some 'stones' hitting a bloke with a running chainsaw in his hands!...thankfully I was in a good stance of this could have been a 'old codger decapitates tree-feller - or the other way round' thread!. We had a laugh about it later. Had he been a younger man, I would have chinned him of course! ;)
