ha ha there are some very nice beech trees out there some bigguns as well

 

i plan with some mates in the industry to climb a fair few of the big trees in cassiobury as well :thumbup1:

 

go on the ancient tree hunt website and find the biggun, but look after her, she is getting embrittlement now but when in the crown observe the ramification of the buds, a remarkable tree ive spent an hour or two in, just appreciating her form and nature. Some of the best occluded stubs youll ever see:thumbup1:

 

not yet, waiting for the time to be right slow season this year and I have a reputation to uphold!:thumbup:

I would like to come for a walk again really enjoyed the last one keep me posted :thumbup1:

may be a suitible place to try out the new rope wrench.... keep the fungi pictures comming im starting to read a little more about fungi but its just not sticking yet, is the any other good beginner books ?
