I've got a Marlow 12mm double braid line, it's very grippy which is great for lifting with my grcs but eats good quality rigging gloves for fun as its so grippy. Seems to glaze pretty easy as well

Cheers for that john, info i needed......

so it glazes easy, ?? maybe i should go for a yale double esterlon or polydyne instead,:confused1:

It's Sirius I'm using not liros. I'm happy using a pretty static line for rigging. If your just lowering get double esteron. If you use tensioning or lifting as well as snatching in the same tree I would prefer a more static rope and work with good groundsman when you need to.drop pieces into the.system
