this was just a piece that old snake gave me to have a practice on, i will do a better one when i order some yalex ....loads of it 2 ....

Something that I've seen with pintos spliced like this is that the retrieval shackle can get sucked up between the legs of the Prussic. Had it happen a few weeks ago, and your stuck. It's a right pain. I'd now just put a spacer between and splice a loop to stop this happening.

I was toying with that idea Drew. I suppose the load on each leg of the pinto would equalise better.
