Dictaphone = Godsend!

Just thought I would share my latest bit of kit. I've started using a dictaphone more and more now - easy to carry round, used in all weathers and withought having to lean on something. Then you just type up when you get into the office and bobs your uncle. I struggle making sense of the notes I take while out on site sometimes, so it makes that kind of thing 10 times easier as you can speak quickly and still know what you mean.

 

 

If you're not hugely literal then I think it would be a big help quoting jobs etc.

I have always carried one in the landy but only for when I get pulled by vosa and ea just so I can argue the toss about waste transfer licence on record

My phone has 1, but because I have a tactile way of learning I prefer to type into my phone, that way I will remember to check my notes.

my written notes were a nightmare, I couldn't read my own writing lol
