....i aint evan lit the fire yet this year so i aint suppprised!.........it dont work for me unless its real dry,when its been real cold and my house has no heating it hasnt been as good as i thought wood that dead or dense should be........very dry yew ive found burns like plutonium fuel rods though!

Plutonium fuel rods :D

I split an old yew log into 4 today and put it in the Bosky with a few lumps of coal - It lasted for about 7 hours at meltdown level. Has to be very well seasoned though.

 

So who's giving that kind of money for yew? I have a bit lying around...
