Anybody see that thing on the telly about milk as an isotonic, apparently it helps re-hydrate and repair the body faster than man made isotonics.... Who'd have thought, mother nature eh...

 

 

I saw that on the box, TBH I already had a hunch that milk was better, I would also think fruit juices would work the same

My mate religiously drinks beers after running. He read it in a Spanish running

mag that the old beer rehydrates the body and replaces the lost electrolytes. I was sceptical, but he believed it.

 

 

Beer was one of the food staples in ancient Egypt and medieval northern Europe, so he could be onto something, those Egyptians were clever buggers :beerglass:
