Had a brilliant morning, first job two doors from me.

Finished at 9:30.

Second job - not gonna be there till 11:00, needed to confirm details before starting..so

All round mine for a few laps on my permanent scalextric set-up.

Couldn't believe how competitive 3 guys in their early 20s can get!

Still - a great way to break up the day, only 1 problem

They want to know what time tomorrows burn-up is scheduled for.

Great thread, well we have finally found somewhere to live when we move to scotland, can't wait to move in. We haven't seen it in the flesh, but we know the exact location and the view is amazing!

Working today felling Leylandii with a guy I enjoy working for, he had somebody in to do the worst of the dragging and I ended up with a bonus pick up full of Ash and Oak as the customer asked for a couple of other bits doing ( day rate and an ongoing job  ). Oh, and found a pound in the car park at Morrisons when I stopped off to pick up dinner.

Very happy customer just called to pay me for a proper job well done, and priced better than another quote he had.... £1k profit for 2 days work after paying wages and expenses :) Love it when a plan comes together.
