As marc said,Get a wire gate revolver and use that instead off your pulley,It snaps on and off really quick,

 

Or just buy a spidrjack :)

Tried it today taking out a multi stemmed syccie. Worked very well and you can pull the tail of the rope up like on a HC/VT and it tends up slack smoothly. Quite pleased!

What size of rope are you using?

 

I've got yale xtc 13mm and just trying out the hc, but fancy a spider jack, but don't want to change my rope just yet, been told 13mm doesn't tend well??

13mm tends fine once your cam is worn in

 

Going to find a spiderjack user and have a go :D got someone allready offered to let me have a go with theirs so thats good of them :thumbup:

Using 11.7mm poison ivy today. I use a 12/13mm cam as I have a longer 13mm xtc rope too.

 

In the pics above ive used 13mm line and found it worked well.
