i got back from work yesterday at about 12pm, was an easy job and we got a tip aswell. when i got home 2 tree surgeons i know who work for a big company were doing a cash job behind my house. it was only a 45 foot conifer. anyway long story short lowered the top using a new climbing line running through a karabiner. ended up snapping the rope :asshole2:. i laughed my arse off. no one was hurt and no damage was done apart from the climbers pride.

yesterday whilst on my way to price a job i reversed into an up and over garage door that stuck out 18" whilst it was open. needless to say the door is now very bent. i couldnt see it in my mirrors cos it was about 6 foot high. the home owner was a bit pissed. i apologised and said id pay for a replacement, £500 including the new rails. finally found the job which i got told was a large conifer, its about 8" diameter and 10 foot tall. :damnmate: dont think it'll cover the cost of the garage door.
