What a day today! been out practicing some cutting with a rope and harness and top saw. wasnt the best day for me..tired and had the motivation of a slug.

 

trying to climb a sweet chesnut on a woodland ride with not many thick branches to hang off and more shoots so many shoots on the trunk , that made rope throwing a nightmare:thumbdown:everyone got caught over and over again!

 

my question is: How do you guys / gals climb a dreaded tree like this?

 

I gave up this afternoon out off sheer frustration and lack off sleep.

 

 

Thats why God invented the ladder :thumbup1:

if it was a job then yes... i would just get on with it...but it wasnt.

 

just throw throwline highs as you can go then see what happens,lol or just find an easier tree?

Cerne you should've thumbed a lift off of that apache circling overhead!!

 

Do you think they would have done that after me giving them the V sign....:001_tongue:......turning there weapon on me yes!...but not lifting me into the top.

We'll have to get onto RAF Wattisham (I think that's where they come from!) see if we can get a ride marine style clipped onto the sides!! You'll have to stop shouting at 'em tho! :001_tongue:
