We worked in a garden yesterday where the landscapers had set a bonfire too close to a 6ft Box hedge.

 

The hedge got scorched so the client, who was upset, bought some green spray paint to return the hedge to its former glory!

I have recommended that before to a client who was selling their house and catagorically needed there knackered coni hedge to be green again. I told them I couldn't work miracles and it was dead, the only option for making it green again was to paint it. I got a phone call the following weekend telling me they had followed the 'advice' and it now looked better than ever!!!

I trimmed a leyland hedge a few years ago that, as told to the client, had brown patches afterwards due to the harshness with which I had been instructed to cut. Sure enough Halfords had the answer in aerosol form.
