Made lots off contacts on here.

 

did one days work with Steve, had one guy offer me some work as a student but couldnt do it as it was wrong time to do it i was still stuydying at the time and would have to had given up college up to do it.

 

Got on a training course threw a contact here.

 

good website thou for making contacts...met you through here Andy...which was nice.

I posted our job ad here back in mid August.

Also placed it at an extortionately expensive Gardening mag :sad: & a well known web arb site :001_smile:.

 

Got 45 calls for application packs in total,

15 sent back the packs, of those If I remember rightly, 2 came direct from here.

I would have applied for that job if I lived in London. Looked like a great opportunity.

have not posted much, but ive been viewing arbtalk for about 3 months and ive got to say that arbtalk is a top resource in terms of advice, iam about to take my "39" and hopefully fingers crossed if i pass i will post to see if there is anyone out there who requires a subbie climber for casual work.

Posted for work and after a while I got offered a good opportunity. Possibly more by coincidence but an opportunity none the less.

 

From an Employer point of view I would definately look here, As Peter says the forum documents work/ development and also offers some personal insight.

 

Additionally if I hadn't just moved away I too would have bitten Monkeyd's hand off for an interview... :001_cool:

Andy. You've been good to say that you would hand my details to some people and to keep an eye out for a newbie.Which was/is very good of you....

Just great to read the posts that people put on here for lots of help and info....
