Trying to age a Verrmeer BC150 via engine number

Called the Vermeer uk today (Friday 24/2/12) advised technical was on holiday, anywhere else I can try?

Vermeer might not be able to help you via the engine number, the engine manufacturer might be a better bet though.

Check the VIN plate on the towing bar. But that does not authenticate the engine! Its unlikely the engine has been changed but simply call up Kubota. I think thats the engine in this chipper??? Kubota 35hp?

Could be cummins engine if it's old. Go to Vermeer.com, customer support and request a manual, some bits to fill in but they can send a manual and it will have the age of chipper on it.

Trying to age it through the engine won't work as it could be different engine from when it was made.

Thanks for the advice lads, called Vermeer Friday but was advised the technical guy was off until Monday.
