Apparently there is a RW ZK2 in the pipeline. The race is on!

 

I actually find the length of the RW to be quite useful occasionally when coming in on branch walks. Although I am aware that this may be due to being a beginner and I'm still finding my way with technique.

Here is my mid-line designed Dogbone RW (attribution: the rope wrench concept was invented by Kevin Bingham). I had the aluminum frame water cut, and I machined an aluminum sheave at the lower friction point ( a steel or bronze sheave could be used also). It fits snugly on the line and engages quickly due to its short overall length, and weighs in at approx. 5 oz.
