Transit tipper insurance

I am with Aviva and i am also 29. I pay £597 fully comp I ve got it on a multi car policy which has meant i ve got the 110 and 130 tippers insured for about 350 each. Any driver over 25 and all fully comp. I haven t used them for years but this year they saved me neary £700 altogether. can t complain at that. I used arbinsure last year and that was through aviva but this year they couldn't get close even though it would ultimatly be through the same people.

I tried all the usuals with no joy (NFU, Adrian Flux, Trust etc.)

 

Aviva 950 same policy. Result. I owe you a pint Treefog. Saved me a few hundred quid.

i got my renewal through im 26 with a 06 plate master tipper i was looking at the 1000+ mark

I have been looking insurance for my movano tipper for the last few weeks, im 23 with 6 years no claims and there is no point saying its a tipper because no one will touch me! I couldnt even get a quote off anyone, i tried about 30-40 companies, then done quotes for a dropside and the cheapest i could find was £1700 3party f+t, £2500+ on fully comp, its only worth £2500 anyway! my 27 year old mate was £710 3rd party F+T, so im not going to be able to drive it, its a joke, you get 0 help if your young and trying to start a business! I work 7 days a week and i would be better off staying home having a few kids and claim everything under the sun!..... Rant over

insurance runs like the lottery its only good when your numbers come up its a joke. I spend alot of time ringing people every year. theres no point in being loyal. i was with the nfu for my 110 tipper for years but it kept going up.

 

I am glad i was able to help people its still alot of money but least its all abit more realistic.

i rekon my insurance company have made a mistake with mine after reading all of yours... im 25 and am paying 180 for my tipper, 150 for my land rover 127, £60 for my old mg all fully comp.

I think I'm with insuravan on line, cheap for my tipper. Try Adrian flux they were the cheapest for my other van.
