No puwer dosent require serial numbers but surely you need to identify reverlent equipment so why not use serial number and your own identifcation, lets make it easier for ourselves and harder for them

Yes mate I had to go down to a police yard once, they had raided somewhere and come up with over 50 machines. We managed to match about half of them.:thumbup:

How do guys mark your equipment?

I mark mine with black permament marker, & also u.v pen which shows up under black light. Plus have a copy of serial nos. on file. even hand tools are marked.

Thanks Jonesie its good to know things do get returned sometimes.

 

we burn markings into ours with a soldering iron on the plastics engrave on the metal parts and also number them with a marker.

We etch ours on the oil tank with a dremel then go over it in permanent pen to make it stand out
