I'd of thought repairing the banks and relaying the stones would be a pain with the Pembrokeshire style? There's a new built bank and new planted hedge just outside Pembroke that I've seen, looks good :001_cool:

I have not had to repair/re-lay stone or rebuild the banks before, as most farmers grumble about the price as it is. Generally when the bank has disapeared it is just re-planted.

The only new banks are built when new roads are built, and then they are built using top soil which causes them to colapse once the organic matter has rotted out.

By the Woodman where the tram used to run? Long way from Pembroke. I lived in Bishopston for a couple of years in the days before the common was fenced.
