Urgh!

Where is the torque going to come from?

The fly wheel is so small.

I imagine that it is tempting but I think such a small machine would be a waste of cash.

Well, thats my shilling worth.

I used a Husqvarna SG13 pedestrian machine today, hired to bust out 4 connys up to 18", and a 15" apple stump, it coped admirably and all done and dusted in a sensible time frame. Nothing wrong with low brake horse machines, if the teeth are sharp. If you only do a few stumps a month, why have a pricey machine sitting in the workshop gathering dust?

First, well done Flarris on working on correcting your grammar he he he!

Second, I changed my mind on these machines and encouraged a mate to take a punt on one.

This may benefit us both as we will pool our stump jobs.

Certainly sharp teeth are the key.
