helmet advice for lots of hair

Although I had them for years I dont get it either. For me it was just what was the done thing at that time and place in my life. I think it was a sort of protest/ youthful rebellion against looking 'nomal' which is why I shaved them off as they were becoming very trendy. they have been found on egyptian mummies though, so have been around for a day or two.
