that would be ok if every log was level, otherwise your measurements would be way off.

 

To be fair Steve, that was the only benefit I could see, but at say a 12' log a tiny movement in the saw could be several inches at the cut...

bit of a gimmick i think, at least its an add on accessory rather than something to bump the price of a saw up.

Nice but I'd rather have a lightsaber and some jedi training . Especially the training that lets you fill the van with logs just like Yoda lifting the x wing out the swamp :001_tongue:

Considering we are all Arb boys and no hand cutting foresters have replied I still think marking with a laser logs to 3 m is going to be hell of a lOt easier with a laser than loggers tape!

this idea is nothing new, we had a sample of a product sent to us over 5-years ago made by a German Company.
