Hi all,

After 2 years of using vistaprint, I decided to get my own logo done by a friend who has recently become self employed as an artist. I received the final version today - any opinions?

Also if anyone else is considering a logo here's the website of the artist who did this one!

cheers,

Joe

EDIT - the proper file is much better quality than this, but I had to optimize it to allow me to post here hence a loss in quality!

What is your line of business? Just trees? Whilst I love the style of the picture in itself, I think its a bit 'busy' for a logo. Hope i don't offend:001_smile:

I don't think it's too busy, although I think i can see where your coming from. From a distance you can pick out the simple forms of the green, brown and blue. Up close you get to see the beauty of the drawing. Perfect for a truck, letter head, business card...

you may well be right. hard to tell until you actually see it on the vehicle etc. i do like it, its nice to to see something a bit individual with character etc.

Hi Nice ,but for me too art'y

if your selling bespoke arts & crafts hand made forest products great

if your a company selling a service then its too confusing

a simple maxim is to keep it simple

identify what your selling & or what youe service is & then identify that to ensure its easily recognised & has a uniquely identifable apsect

The hare is relevant to the business in that I chainsaw carve as well as cutting and planting trees, and I happen to have carved a couple of hares, which the artist seemed to especially like when looking at my website gallery

I think it will look alright on cards etc, althought it might need a bit of fine adjustment to go on tshirts. As said, I quite like the having to look closer to see the hare feel it has to it.
