This is the very first thing to do.

Make sure the fuel is fresh, i.e less than 30 days, and that the plug is clean and preferably new.

Try to start.

if no luck, remove air cleaner and drbble a drop of fuel straight into the carb throat, try again.

if you get a burp, or even a couple of seconds run, then you have proved ignition, so you should clean and rekit carb, after first checking fuel lines for damage, rot, holes etc.

Post your results and someone will give more advice.

Well just to let you all no, it's runs, well it's starts and revs for a bit sounds good to, then it will just stop not sure if it coil or carb. Any info would be good thanks.

Probably a carb problem, worth checking the tank breather located in the fuel cap or just loosen the cap and see if the saw runs OK. Check the fuel pipe and filter and if these are OK then its time to find the carb and give it a clean and possible new carb kit.

You can try turning both the carb H&L screws all the way in and then undo 1 turn and reset the idle, this may get it going.

Not the easiest saw to work on
