Could anyone lend me a 16" Scabbard!? / Chainsaw gloves?

Hi,

 

Im doing my Cs30/31 on monday, got most things sorted but I need to have a scabbard for my saw to do the course. I have tried locally to get one and no one keeps them in stock and the quickest they could get me one is monday! Would anyone on here be willing to lend me one? I can cover postage.

 

I also need some gloves, im a little reluctant to buy some as money is tight and im sure I wouldnt ever wear them after I (hopefully) pass the course!

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Sorry, not much help as I don;t have a scabard to loan you (in fact I don;t have a chainsaw these days..boo hoo!) BUT you don;t necessarily need CHAINSAW gloves (see below) albeit it would be expected 'suitable' work-gloves would be worn.

Hi mate I can lend you a scabbard(15" or 18") if thats any good, no joy with the gloves I'm afraid but I thought they weren't a requirement these days.

dont need gloves, but if you cut yourself when working then he/she can fail you,, so you could just wear normal work gloves.

unfortunatly folks at the moment gloves are still a requirement for Lantra training and NPTC assessments. What you do there after is up to you!!!

seems like other people closer to you have already offered, but if you get stuck I can lend you a scabbard and 1 chainsaw glove (the important one, the dog ate the other one so I just used a normal leather glove for me CS31 before Christmas and noone said anything!)
