CS30/31 near Scotch Corner

I have a mate who wants to get his basic chainsaw tickets in the Scotch Corner/ Barnard Castle area (N Yorks/County Durham).

 

Anyone know where/who?

Askham Bryan college in York's not too far away, though I've heard some worrying reviews of their course. I did mine in Yorkshire with Andrew Morton Training, he was quite good and may be running a course in North Yorks, and TK Forestry near Huddersfield have got a good rep too.

Don't know if they are too far away though...

I did my CS30/31 at Bishop Burton College near beverley, think that they run course every 6 weeks or so, might be worth giving them a call.

I went to Houghal Agricultural College in Durham City and Got my Blue Book there and you can do all your Arboricultural Tickets there. it,s a great place.

did you do any of the full time courses at houghall? i was there 98-99 on the nc.

a brand new training centre building is being put up this spring we are starting construction in a few weeks time,, new courses coming too start May/ June 2012
