Just finished a 5 day job in 3 days! 28 Birches and a Pine down on the floor. Lorry clears up the last heaps 2morrow. Tight avenue of trees down, brash stacked and cord cut to lengts and moved to yard to be chipped. 2 man gang, Volvo L70 and Lorry with 15,5 meter palfinger crane with operators. Spot on and by the book!

Oh yes the great feeling of satisfaction........to be followed by something now going haywire on the next job to bring you back down to earth with a bump :001_tongue:

Hope u didnt jinx me now as were planning to do three massive Salix Alba 2morrow that was planned for next week. (2 day job in one day.....:closedeyes:) Go with the flow.....:bored:

Thought i might share....afterall the banter and rage is really just a small part of our trade isnit! See if I can get some pics... Might b a problem as a 2 man gang means all hands on deck!:ohmy:

And NO the birches were fully mature trees (some mahosive ones)

Nah, couldnt be bothered....my groundie and I descided to do one (bish, bosh, bash), have an early lunch and call it a day. Afterall its friday! Going to a concert :musicus: (the missus are playing) and a pint afterwards...might fall asleep.:sleep:

Batteries were flat:sad:

Se if I can take some photos monday!

Yes!!!

 

But your also missing that sinking feeling you get when the job does not go so well or the chipper starts to make a funny noise :scared1:
