Cedar of Lebanon timber

Hi, got a cedar of Lebanon tree to take down soon. Was wondering if anyone would be interested in the stem. The stem measures around 4foot at base and length of around 15foot. Will get exact measurements later today.

 

Havent got much idea what it would be worth so any information would be greatful. Thanks

I love cedar of lebanon timber, it machines well and is very stable. I have been looking for a butt to mill for some time but unfortunatley you are too far from me.

It would be a great shame if it went for firewood.

hi Liam, sorry i didnt get back to you earlier- I did get your message, but my day has been stupidly hectic, endless phone calls and visitors (work related thankfully) and a machine on hire etc etc. Ill call you tomorrow.

I know a couple of guys east of exeter who would be more thanikely buy it, but I doubt you'd get much more that what it would cost to haul. Unless you could transport it?
