Serial number 8053 it has Arbtech servicing stickers on either side and a fleet number H1578 on the nearside. No spare wheel fitted. There are several other give-aways I don't want to disclose but I could certainly determine/prove this was my machine very easily if the identity was altered. It was hitch locked onto the van - I don't know how it was removed but the van was not damaged. Ears to the ground people - any info coming my way will be treated with utmost confidentiality and repayed with cash as previously mentioned. Ultimately I'd like my machine back, I'm not seeking retribution.

Gutted to hear your bad news Dan. I'll keep my eyes peeled over my way. My heart always skips a beat when I hear news like this.

If you've got contracts to fulfil and need the use of my quadchip then please don't hesitate to give me a shout.

What worries me is the speed that they manage to nick things at. Ours is always hitch-locked on to the truck and it's easy to assume that because you're nearby working, and it's locked on, that it won't suddenly go walkies. So many times on jobs though we see dodgy looking drop-side Transits doing slow drive-bys. Couple of times we've approached them. A few months back I jumped in my 4x4 and followed one. We try to make our presence known as much as possible and hope that's enough to deter them.

Scumbags!
