the basis for chainsaw maintenance is whatever the manufacturer recomends like it is for all vehicles and machinery

rubber av,s were supposed to be replaced between 6 and 12 months due to vib levels

springs last till they bust as they do not deteriorate i usually change fuel filters every christmas as for me prevention is always better than cure and replace pull cord if the slightest sign of wear

reliability is worth more than a couple of quid
