WHATS the best ground helmets thanks

I would go for the husky with the new visor, they have improved it now and its great, i got one off fleabay for 35 notes mate.

but the seller is in wellington [somerset] willis and grabham,ive had lots off them,anywhere near you jon???you could save £5 on the postage

this is the one jon,the mesh visor has been updated and better quality wire has been used,ive got a few of the older version,although they are still the best ground helmet[imo]the mesh just gets smashed to bits,ive replace many a mesh..but the new one is going strong:thumbup:

or you could go for the green one (to match the colour of that scrumpy you drink)chians direct,but it would cost you almost double @£60.00

I've got the Husky New Balance and I'm happy with it apart from the clips holding the harness in have an annoying habit of coming out when you take it off.

when i work for the council,one of the boys on the tree gang had the same prob:thumbdown:

i have many of these helmets,the new and older models and its never happened to any of mine,seems to be a bad batch:thumbdown:

the lug on the problem helmets seems to be very small,best thing to do..bit of superglue on the lug

I've got a stein for sale john, if u buy the saw u can have the helmet for 50 quid:)

The visor on the new huskies is to big!!! I cut mine down,the sordin ear defenders are far superior to the peltor type used on stihl lids though.

It does not really matter, so long as the helmet has Sordin muffs.
