Total rubbish, deep slush, flooding and now heavy rain. Found myself in a flooding burn this morning (from snow melt), trying to fell a stupid stray Sitka, icy water up to middle and arms too, saved the saw and managed to cut the tree, they were mostly up to 15-18" today, spent the rest of time wading through deep snow more wet and got very cold feet.

Tip of the day that worked was keeping a dry pair of gloves down front of jumper( as well as my first aid kit and loads of kitchen towel for nose) so I had some warm ones to change into when the ones I was wearing got freezing and wet!

HI ALL im just told more snow on it way 2 weeks time :001_rolleyes::confused1::001_rolleyes:jon
