Warmed the barrels today in the rain. Won 3 of the 5 sweeps today (Total bag [nearest without going over], first pigeon, high bird [pigeon at 70 yards up]. Was a cracking day espeically the 2nd and 3rd drive at the wind was spot on for both.:thumbup:

Anyone hear about the River Barle in Dulverton last night. A couple of family members live down that neck of the woods. My dad and i drove down there in the landy to help out. We were anticipating about 2 ft of water across the roads. Not 6 ft in places. The main bridge had several large trees and resulting rubbish dammed up which increased the problem. It had enough force to lift massive lumps of tarmac off the road. It was a massive operation but the police, ambulance and fire crews all helped out and the locals grouped together to get families out of flooded homes and take them to the makeshift "comfort centre". Didn't get any pictures of the flooding as left my camera at home.
