The idea of "having a bath in the garden", is really appealing to me :thumbup1:

Mate of mine has an old cast bath over a fire pit in the garden. It gives a nice glow when using it on a clear night, the only downside is the bottom gets a bit hot. Nothing a little bit of lattice didn't fix.

 

As for the thieves, the trees where probably worth more, more easily shifted and wouldn't need a crane - I don't get it.

we had a tree felled in linford woods the other week and a load of wood stolen, you should have seen the felling cut. was quality. a 24" based ash and they just cut straight through the bottom. they only took a 7 foot length of it
